CTC launches 100% recycled sewing threads Renu line

US-based provider of thread and diverse sewn products components, yarn Champion Thread Company (CTC), has brought environmentally friendly industrial sewing threads Renu line of all-around. Which is made fully from non-virgin materials. The 100 percent recycled threads give a green option without sacrificing sewing performance.

Renu presently covers environmentally friendly versions of 3 all-around polyester threads with extensive applications across the fashion, furniture, mattress, PPE, industrial, and other product segments.

“We are proud to offer these sustainable thread solutions,” said Matt Poovey, President, CTC.

Poovey added, “The Renu line addresses growing industry and consumer demand for products made from non-virgin materials. These 100 percent recycled threads are designed to enable retailers, brands, and manufacturers to meet their sustainability goals and commitments while maintaining the productivity, seam performance, colorfastness, and chemical resistance characteristics they enjoy in our traditional polyester treads.”

Under the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, it is certified to be free of harmful substances and the current line-up of all-around eco-friendly products includes Renu ChampSpun recycled staple spun polyester thread, Renu Poly ChampCore recycled polyester-wrapped thread with a multifilament core, and Renu AeroTex Plus recycled textured polyester thread.

Renu products ensure reducing energy consumption, waste, and oil dependence. Not to mention, they are engineered to CTC’s extreme quality standards and are finished with their exclusive lubricants to guarantee high productivity.

The Renu products signify CTC’s pledge to ‘Advancing the Common Thread’.
