Decathlon Sports Bangladesh donates 25,000 face mask

Figure: Decathlon Sports Bangladesh has donated more than 25,000 face mask to Dhaka North City Corporation and to the Industrial Police Head Quarters in Dhaka recently.

Decathlon Sports Bangladesh has donated more than 25,000 face mask to Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and to the Industrial Police Head Quarters in Dhaka recently to fight against COVID-19. Honorable Mayor of DNCC, Md Atiqul Islam and the Additional Inspector General of Dhaka Industrial Police, Abdus Salam (PPM) have received these mask.

“Responsibility is one of our company’s inherent values. Acting responsibly and caring for others is something that is close to each of our teammates’ hearts”, said in Decathlon Sports Bangladesh official LinkedIn page.

Decathlon Sports Bangladesh also hopes that these masks will contribute to more safety, not just during these test times only.

It also congratulates to all teammates and suppliers who were involved in making this donation happen and feel proud to being useful to people and our planet.

The French family-owned sporting goods retailer Decathlon has started operation in 2019 opening its first store in Dhaka’s Uttara targeting Bangladesh’s growing market of health consciousness and fitness business.

With an annual revenue of over €12 billion, Decathlon has 1,500 stores in 54 countries, including almost all major economies.
