Adidas has proclaimed its new team-up with Karlie Kloss to co-create a range features activewear essentials ranging from sports bras to leggings.
Kloss says, “Staying active is such an integral part of my physical and mental health, and I’ve learned so much about teamwork and community from participating in sports throughout my life.”
“To design a collection with Adidas is truly a dream come true. I hope this collaborationn inspires the next generation of women to use sport to fuel their passions and achieve their ambitions.”
The all-female Spring/Summer 2021 campaign stars the supermodel herself alongside Alexis Williams and Elysha Ang – alums of her nonprofit organization Kode With Klossy, which helps young women build their passion for computer science.
Staying consistent with the main goal of the collection, Adidas is also teaming up with digital fashion house The Fabricant to create a three-dimensional rendering of the WIND.RDY Parka. The duo will be accepting unique interpretations of the garment from young creators, leading up to a virtual expo that will support the Kode With Klossy community.
Along with the launch, Adidas is also spotlighting its sustainability initiative by using high-performance materials PRIMEBLUE and PRIMEGREEN, which are made with upcycled plastic waste gathered on remote islands and beaches.
Priced from $40 USD to $120 USD, Adidas and Karlie Kloss’ collaborative range will launch online on December 1, followed by seasonal drops in 2021.
