Macy’s launches new eco-friendly textiles range

Macy’s new sustainable line ‘Oake collection’ features select items from a blend of cotton and Tencel lyocell fibers, which are manufactured from renewable wood sources as well as items made from a blend of cotton and Ethicot – a recycled cotton from pre-consumer textile waste.

This new eco-friendly Oake collection has launched online and in select Macy’s department stores with a variety that contains sheets, quilts, duvet sets, comforter sets, bath towels and mats, plus decorative pillows and blankets. The aesthetic is modern and textural.

Macy’s is aiming at the under-40 customer with its new bedding and bath house brand.

Many of Macy’s products are certified ‘Made in Green’ by Oeko-Tex, which safeguards they are safe from more than 350 harmful substances.
