Marks & Spencer (M&S) is set to expand its third-party childrenswear offering online store.
Notably M&S will launch Clarks to 27 of its stores, while introducing Hype to 8 stores and Smiggle to 60 stores.
The store expansion of Smiggle, Hype and Clarks follows a successful trial in eight UK stores for the back-to-school period last year.
Also, the retailer will be introducing Jansport and Kickers to e-commerce platform M&S.com.
Again there will be in-store services that include free measuring and fitting for footwear. Also, M&S will offer complementary new school accessories.
The retailer said the stores that launched Clarks’ measure-and-fit service benefited from an 8 percent rise on average in customers in store, and a 13 percent surge in overall kids wear sales. Founded in 1884, M&S generated £10,181.9 million in 2020.
Neil Harrison, Director of Brands at M&S said, “BTS is a busy time for families and we want to make the shopping experience even easier for our customers by putting some of their favourite footwear and accessories brands, alongside our strong schoolwear offer.”
This is just one of the many ways they are offering their 22 million Clothing & Home customers, also more reasons to shop with M&S.
