Each Lids store has more than 1,000 original caps in stock in every conceivable size, color, and design and a wide selection of jerseys for players.

Britten Maughan, President, Lids, said, “The US sportswear retailer has been all these years – receiving requests to bring an unparalleled assortment of its products to Germany. Notably, Germany has a huge headwear market.”

Also, Germany has a strong fashion accessory market and a growing affinity for US sports, which fits into the core strengths of the Lids product offering, he added.

Today, Lids operates almost 1,200 stores throughout the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and England, including through its retail partnerships with Macy’s and Designer Brands.

It majorly focuses on apparel and caps from US sports, such as American football, basketball, and baseball.
